The granite person is coming on Monday (by Monday, that means Tuesday or Wednesday in remodeling world), and he'll be finished the same day - crossing our fingers here! All that is after that is the painting (backsplash area and cabinets). Now, what in the world will I write about once this is all said and done? Well I'm sure most of you are tired of hearing me gripe about the progress, so you might be glad to hear other stories!!
On a side note, we've gotten word that Justin's grandma and my grandpa are struggling right now. Both have been in and out of the hospital this week, so please send out some prayers for them. At least both of them are in good spirits. In fact, Grandma and I talked for a while today about Shiner and the house, and my Papa was already talking about when he can go back to eat breakfast at the store in Bluff Dale. We are praying for a quick recovery for both.

If not, then I will be posting pictures of where I took things into my own hands and tore out the old countertops myself. Kidding, sort of.
