I write this on the eve of what just may be the end of our old kitchen. Ok, ok, knock on wood. I'm going to put it out there in the atmosphere, and then it'll all fall through tomorrow. At this point, almost everything, AND the kitchen sink, has been removed from the kitchen. We are down to a fridge and a microwave. The granite guy comes tomorrow and the painter on Tuesday. That's right - we found a painter!! He even had an onsite demonstration for us. He said he can finish in 2 days, but as one of my favorite students would say, "That ain't right!" I'll believe it when I see it I guess. All that is left after this week is the oven, and it should be in next week I think. So, fingers crossed, we'll have a new kitchen before we leave for Granbury. Yea!! Thank goodness because I am tired of going out to eat for every meal.
I'll keep tonight's blog short and sweet since there's not much to add. I have put in pictures of what the kitchen looks like tonight, and then I'll post granite pictures tomorrow if (when!!) it's done. Justin is airing up and filling up our kiddie pool, so time to relax a little before the craziness. Here's to hoping that everything comes together!
